Grant Hall Hotel

The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was spotless and cozy, and I slept really well. The hotel is a beautiful historic building in a handy location close to everything I needed. I was advised to stay at the Grant Hall Hotel for a weekend in Moose Jaw, and the staff made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. Their warm, attentive, genuinely kind service was one of the best parts of the visit. I highly recommend it and plan to return.

We were there for my wife’s birthday, and the team made the weekend feel special from check-in to checkout. Management and staff upgraded us and left a birthday card. Chef Trevor made several special dishes, all delicious, and Kristine helped us choose wine. We loved her recommendation and friendly service. Joan, Jade, and two young men whose names we unfortunately forgot were also pleasant and efficient, which made dinner even better. Grant Hall is a gem of a boutique hotel, and we highly recommend trying it.

The hotel’s Victorian decor and lovely rooms made a great impression, and the whole experience at Grant Hall was top tier. Six of us, all moms on a getaway, had to scramble for a place at the last minute on Feb 15 after The Temple Spa messed up our reservations. Grant Hall fit us in with a suite and a single room and gave us a great deal after we explained the nightmare with The Temple Mineral Spa hotel. Alex was working at the front desk and was friendly, professional, and so accommodating. He even brought each of us a rose because of the hassle we’d had with the other hotel. That’s customer service. We’ll definitely be back. If you want a beautiful hotel, great cocktails, and excellent service, I’d recommend it. Ask for Alex, and you’ll be well cared for.

The staff were welcoming and very helpful, and the room was spacious and comfortable. It is an old hotel, so some doors don’t fit well, including handmade bathroom doors fitted to reconstructed walls. The furniture is old, some of it probably more than a century, and some doors don’t want to close. There’s only a nightstand on one side of the king bed, which isn’t enough space for all the things I need nearby. The restaurant is visually impressive, and both food and service were very good. Prices may look high, but they’re on par with other high-end restaurants. The large, comfortable tables and chairs, ornate old decor, and linen tablecloths and napkins give it a pleasant blast-from-the-past feel. The TV had more channels than most, including sports, and we connected a laptop with our streaming apps through the HDMI ports to watch on the bigger screen. Prairie Bee Meadery is downstairs and offers free tastings. We were surprised by how pleasant the mead was and bought a few things.
