Comfort Inn & Suites

The beds were heavenly, and breakfast was delicious. James, the weekend Breakfast Attendant, deserves a special thank-you. He was exceptionally kind and helpful, careful with his work, and gave guests outstanding service. I had a delightful stay at Comfort Inn Carleton Place. A couple of small changes would make the room better for me: warmer, softer bulbs in some lamps instead of all fluorescent lighting, and hooks behind the bathroom doors for towels.

I've stayed in hotels and suites quite a few times, and the front desk staff can really shape how the day starts. Loren's positive energy, smile, and welcoming approach made me feel safe and set things off right. Her hospitality was incredible. Well done, Loren, you deserve the recommendation.

We were there for one night during a hockey tournament. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, and the staff were nice. The hotel includes breakfast and parking. The one problem was the lack of soundproofing. We could hear the couple in the next room moaning while having sex. Earplugs would have helped! Still, it was a good experience.

We needed a larger room and were told this was the biggest one the hotel offered. We visit Ottawa often and found the Comfort Inn staff very welcoming. The breakfast chef was the highlight. With so many parents and kids going through the food, he kept the food available and drinks topped up while cleaning the whole area. The fridge was stocked, and everything was good and hot!
