Moosomin Canalta

The breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Housekeeping was disappointing, though. We stayed three nights and had no hand soap for the first two. The bed wasn’t made any day, and although we got fresh towels daily, the used ones were left on the floor. There was only one coffee and one tea. After I drank the tea the first morning, the dirty cup was left out and nothing was replenished.

I was very disappointed with the front desk service. At 9:45pm on Sunday, I went down because nobody was answering, and asked the front desk lady to turn down the music from a party directly below my room. I had to be up at 5am for work. She said she’d already told them to lower it and wouldn’t ask again because it wasn’t 10pm yet. I don’t think I should have to hear another floor’s party, even before 10. Music is fine, but hearing it upstairs felt excessive. I could only assume the people at the party were her friends or family, since she wouldn’t even ask them to turn it down a little.

They let us hang out and play cards in the lobby in the evening, which we really appreciated. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the pool was fun. Breakfast was great, too. We’d stay here again. Choose the Canalta!

The staff were welcoming, and both the rooms and pool area were clean. The room was comfortable, and the pool was a relaxing place to spend time. A wonderful stay at Canalta Hotel Moosomin, highly recommend it.
