Emma made our 8th anniversary feel special. We got an upgraded room on the top floor, a thoughtful gift, and $20 in breakfast gift cards from her. Her service went well beyond what we expected. We also had a great time in the pool. The kitchen staff were flexible about our food, and since we’re vegetarian they made changes so we could have veggie cheese pizza and avocado toast. Thanks, Courtyard, and especially Emma, for making the day and night lovely. We’re Marriott members, and I’d recommend using membership for a good price.

I regret staying here and wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially for older guests. The main safety concern was the shower floor: it looked steady, but once wet or soapy it became extremely slippery. I realized the danger and got out very slowly. If someone slipped, they could hit their head on the wall, and there was nothing to hold on to. I raised this with management, but they didn’t seem concerned. It feels like a serious liability. The room also wasn’t cleaned while I was out for the day. Reception said rooms are cleaned every other day, without asking the guest. The TV picture was so bright it hurt my eyes, and I couldn’t find a way to adjust it. Reception told me the settings were fixed, so I gave up watching TV during my five-day stay. At $250 a night, I expected more. Breakfast wasn’t included, parking cost extra and was offsite, and there were homeless people camping outside. The area smelled very bad. I felt the service was terrible and the price wasn’t worth it. On my way out, I spoke with T.C, one of the managers, and told him exactly what I planned to say so there’d be no question that I’d stayed there. I won’t be coming back.

The room was clean and laid out nicely, and the staff were helpful and pleasant. It’s a newer hotel with restaurants and things to do nearby. Guest parking is in a garage across the street, with the spaces clearly marked.

Emma was the standout. The hotel staff were great, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. Really amazing service, and a big thank you to her.
