We made the most of the hotel amenities for our 50th birthdays. The room was lovely, the spa exceptional, and the cocktails at the Library were divine. Mike's Place was lively, and breakfast was delicious each morning. The location is perfect, close to both the water and downtown. We’ll definitely be back!

Mark at the Hume Spa gave me a haircut and did a fantastic job. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced, and we had some great chats and laughs. Everyone was courteous, and he was right on schedule. Thanks for taking such good care of me and my hair. I absolutely love the cut!

Humune Restaurant in Nelson BC is a real treasure. The beet salad with added chicken I ordered yesterday was incredible, fresh, flavorful, and put together just right. I’ve tried several dishes, and the kitchen is top notch. Every visit brings great food and hospitality, but the service is what really makes this place stand out. It’s truly appreciated. A must visit in Nelson BC, and I can’t recommend it enough!

We came all the way from Spokane for Christmas dinner at Hume Restaurant, and it exceeded every expectation. We arrived at the last minute without a reservation on a busy evening, but the team found room for us and seated us beautifully. Our server, Richard, was professional, kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and we felt looked after throughout the meal. The food was excellent from start to finish. My mom’s well-done filet mignon, with no pink at all, was still tender, juicy, and full of flavor. She said it was the best steak she’d ever had, difficult order and all. My medium rare steak and prawns were cooked perfectly, rich and flavorful, and beautifully plated. We started with homemade borscht for me and autumn squash soup for my mom, both comforting, delicious, and well balanced. She enjoyed a White Russian, and I had a refreshing, thoughtfully made non-alcoholic cranberry spritz. Pumpkin pie for her and turtle cheesecake for me were a memorable, decadent finish. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend Hume Restaurant to anyone visiting Nelson.

Michelle and I checked in just three days ago, and it was an amazing stay. Getting a table right by the fireplace at dinner made the evening feel special. Everyone at the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping was pleasant and informative. We’re already planning another trip back.
