The downtown location was fantastic, with everything within walking distance, and the room was good overall. The lighting setup was odd: the only substantial light was beside the TV, leaving the rest of the room dim. The floor was a bigger concern. After we bathed our children, their feet turned completely black again as soon as they walked on it. It seemed the floor hadn’t had a thorough basic cleaning, so we wore shoes around the room for our whole stay. I hope the cleaning staff can address that, since the property’s convenience and location are excellent.

I booked their hotel on Booking.com for November 13, then went there and knocked on the main office door, but no one was there. I waited for 30 minutes before finding another hotel, where I stayed that night. When I contacted them the next morning, they said they would charge me $89 even though I hadn’t opened the main door, and they gave no other response. They’re thieves and scammers.

The owners were very pleasant and friendly. Choice Inn was clean and cozy, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and nice decor. It was quiet and close to Clifton Hill and everything we wanted to see and visit. A perfect place to stay while in Niagara.

Our King room was clean and had a fridge and microwave, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is great value and close to the falls, with attractions, restaurants, and bars all an easy walk away. We’ll be back.

The bedding and showers were mouldy! The bed skirt was completely covered in mould, and the pillows had what looked like blood or other stains on them. The walls and headboards were filthy too. A complete disappointment. Disgusting. I would never set foot in this place again, and if negative stars were possible, I’d give that rating.
