Niagara Inn & Suites

The woman at the office was great, and we had a good stay. We especially loved the honeymoon suite and its heart-shaped hot tub. It was fantastic.

At check-in, I was told I'd have to pay extra for the second person, even though my room was booked for two. It felt like they were just trying to get more money from me. Then they wanted a $300 deposit. The lobby was disgusting, and the staff didn't seem to know how to handle people. If you're looking for a clean, respectable motel, Kings inn near the falls is the place to go.

I booked a room but checked right back out after seeing the bed. The mattress, blanket, and comforter were stained, and there were cigarette burns in the bed. Everything looked dirty, with holes and stains in the walls and carpets. The service was poor and the lobby smelled terrible. This place is good for 30-minute stays, if you know what I mean. Never coming back.

We barely slept, with the bed feeling very uncomfortable and the music from the neighbors carrying on past 11 p.m. It was a long weekend and the room cost $171 a night, which felt ridiculous. We checked in around 9:30 Friday night and soon saw a huge many-legged bug racing over the floor and walls. We killed it, but spent the night worrying there might be more. The people next door were outside with their radio blaring. When we called the front desk, they said nobody was outside even though we could clearly see them. We called again to ask for a refund and were refused, so we stayed. After getting our $100 deposit back, we also tried to get Saturday night refunded, but they said no and required 48 hours' notice to cancel. Is that even a thing?
