Strathaird Bed & Breakfast

Sunny made us feel so welcome. Her place was warm, cozy, and clean, and we had a lovely stay. We even made friends with some other guests at the breakfast table. Highly recommend, and thank you 💕

The homemade hot breakfasts were fantastic. During our trip we had French toast, pancakes, fruit, eggs, bacon, and sausages. We also appreciated the clean surroundings, comfortable bed, pretty garden, thoughtful service, and quaint decor. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the A/C was a relief during the 40C heat wave. Sunny was a wonderful host who made our mother-daughter getaway feel like home. Strathaird B&B is quiet and peaceful, away from the main tourist hub, while still being near the major attractions by WeGo Bus. The stop is just a few minutes’ walk down the road. We’re looking forward to staying again.

The location worked really well for getting between Niagara Falls and the Whirlpool Aero Car. The WEGO bus goes between them, and the stop is only a two-minute walk from the hotel. One thing for visitors from outside Niagara: Presto cards don’t work on WEGO. A $13 CAD day pass gives you unlimited rides for the day. Sunny, the owner, was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and let me check in half an hour early. I was here for a late-night photo shoot, often getting back at 3 AM and waking around 10 or 10:30 AM. Sunny checked in with me personally about breakfast and let me choose the time and what I wanted, rather than sticking to a fixed schedule. It felt more like staying at home than at a hotel, peaceful, clean, and comforting. One of the best stays I’ve had in Niagara Falls. If you’re still reading reviews, I’d say stop scrolling and book it. You won’t regret it.

Sunny was accommodating and kept us in the loop about things to do and the logistics. Breakfast was warm, delicious, and convenient each day, and it was nice getting to know other travellers over the meal. We had a wonderful two-night stay. Our room was cute and comfortable, with an en-suite bathroom. I’d recommend it if you want to be within walking distance of the falls while staying away from the noise and chaos.
