Finlay House Bed and Breakfast Niagara - on - the - Lake

Yvonne made our stay at Finlay House B&B feel especially welcoming. She was attentive to all the details, made us feel at home, and went out of her way at breakfast to accommodate my vegetarian diet and my husband's need to avoid eggs. Breakfast was yummy each morning, and the local lavender farm products used at Finlay House made everything smell amazing. The room was comfortable and inviting, and the location couldn't be better, just a short walk from the historic, beautiful downtown area. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

The location can't be beat, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Yvonne was an excellent host, and breakfast was delicious and filling. We'd stay there again.

We spent two nights in the William Shakespeare Room, on the main floor in its own private wing, with the bathroom down the hall. The room is on the small side, so I'd skip bringing large suitcases. The bed was comfortable, the linens fresh, and the towels fluffy. Breakfast was terrific and hot, served in a lovely breakfast room. The house also has a great front porch, though it was too hot for us to sit out there. Shows, pubs, and stores are all within walking distance.

The large wrap-around balcony was a highlight for us, especially in the quiet mornings and relaxing evenings. Finlay House is adorable, cozy, and full of character. It's about a five-minute walk to the main area, while still being far enough away for some peace and quiet. Yvonne, the house manager, welcomed us warmly and kept checking that we were comfortable. Our room was spotless, cozy, and charming, and the breakfasts she made each morning were delicious and carefully presented. She also shared great ideas for activities and places to eat, including Aura On The Lake, which became one of our favourite dining experiences. We had a truly wonderful, restful stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend Finlay House Bed and Breakfast.
