The three-course breakfast was delicious and filling. We stayed in the West Suite, which has no tub, so choose the Master Suite if having one matters to you. The house is a short drive from Niagara-on-the-Lake's main strip. It's impressive how much care went into restoring the historic building, and the owner is clearly talented. The house is full of artwork recreated by him and his father.
The room was more comfortable than our own at home, and the breakfast was amazing. We arrived late and went out for a late dinner; the hosts suggested some good places nearby. On our last morning we had to leave early for a christening, and they were super accommodating at every step. It was warm and cozy, an experience I'll never forget, and the hosts made a great weekend even better.
The generous breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were so welcoming and nice. Our rooms were stunning, almost like a museum, and the whole historic house took our breath away. Locus Gove has such authentic design, special charm, beautiful energy, and unique decor that it felt like stepping back into the 1800s. I highly recommend it and am already looking forward to coming back in summer ☺
There's nothing like a quaint B&B in the heart of Niagara wine country. This historic site has been painstakingly restored. It's unfortunately under new management now, but it's still a lovely kind of place to stay.
The owners were such good people, and the breakfast was really tasty. The rooms were super clean and classy, and the place itself was gorgeous. What an amazing experience.
