Vine Ridge Resort

The location was convenient for getting around the Niagara area's attractions, and we enjoyed our stay. We knew we'd need to bring linens, but didn't realize we'd also need a tea towel, dishcloth, and paper towels. We washed the few dishes we used as best we could and left them in the drying rack. There was no information about using the air conditioning or furnace, or where to take the garbage.

Vine Ridge Resort is a friendly, clean place to stay, and I’d consider it for my next visit. It’s an easy drive to Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. It also seems like it would be great in summer if you have kids.

We’ve booked vacation time at VineRidge three times now, and the stay was good overall. The pools are great, the kids could run around, and the friendly staff were helpful. The clean facilities and well-kept grounds make it an easy family getaway. The reason I can’t give five stars is the lack of basic supplies in the ‘superior’ cottage. We had to make a full grocery and supply run, as if moving into a new apartment. There wasn’t enough toilet paper or paper towel, and we were missing garbage bags, t-towels for drying dishes, dish soap, sponges or brushes, bathroom hand soap, bed linens, and towels. We paid two-thirds of a mortgage payment for three nights, so I expected those basics to be provided.

Very clean accommodations and everything we needed for a really enjoyable two-night stay. The spot is great, close to lots of wineries and just a short distance from Niagara on the lake. Highly recommended.
