The spicy margaritas were the standout for me, with a good hit of heat and a thoughtful balance. The tacos were fresh and full of flavour, too. Tacos & Tequila has a lively atmosphere and great drinks, and the food felt like the most authentic Mexican I’ve had outside Mexico. A fun spot for tacos and margaritas.

The phone and internet connection wasn’t great, and payment has to be made inside. Still, the staff were so friendly and attentive, and they brought tortilla chips with delicious bean paste while we waited for our drinks and food, a lovely touch. We shared the Colache, which was a good size for two, then had four crisp Churros. The Paloma and Margarita were both excellent. The colourful patio adds to the charm, though there may be a wait to get seated. Lots of authentic flavour here.

Maria was great to work with on the event details, including a drink ticket setup and nachos for each table. We held a private gathering for family and friends the day after our wedding, and it worked out perfectly. The pricing was very reasonable, and it was easy to plan around our gluten and dairy allergies. The food was incredible, and Maria and the rest of the staff were a delight. We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area.
