Jean made the stay such a delight. She's one of the loveliest people we've met and gave us the kind of experience you'd hope for at a bnb. Her recommendations for things to see and do were great, and we could do laundry there too. Breakfast was delicious and filling for our adventures, and it was fun sitting and chatting with other guests over the meal. We spent three nights exploring Gros Morne and the peninsula, and wished we could give more than five stars. Thanks, Jean and Milt, for a wonderful stay and such warm Eastern Canadian hospitality!

The homemade waffles with cherry sauce were especially delicious, and breakfast was a lovely chance to meet guests from all over and trade stories. Even out walking, neighbors would stop for a chat, so the small-town warmth was everywhere. We stayed for two nights in late September with our small dog and wished we'd booked longer. Jean and Milt are wonderful people who made us feel comfortable and made the stay memorable.

When we got a flat tire on the way, the hosts went above and beyond to help us arrive safely. They were so friendly. Our room was clean and quiet, with a porch of our own. Breakfast was yummy, with waffles and homemade cherry topping, yogurt, baked treats and more. The place is very central for walking to a hike or dinner down by the water. We loved our stay and would love to come back!

The rooms were small but clean, and the bed was old, sagging and not very good. Breakfast was a disappointment too. We aren't picky eaters, but what the host made was heavy and meaty, and no other options were offered. There wasn't enough room for us to sit together at breakfast because everything was full, which was a shame. If you enjoy meeting other travelers, don't mind a mediocre bed, and are fine with being surprised at breakfast, this could suit you. But if you want a good bed, a quiet breakfast where you can sit with your fellow travellers, and some choice, or even a light breakfast, it may not be for you. I want to give an honest review about quality, not just friendliness. In our experience, it wasn't worth five stars.

Jean was a kind, energetic host who served delicious food. The room was comfortable and well equipped. Such a warm and welcoming place to stay, and we had a lovely visit.
