Holiday Inn Express & Suites North Battleford by IHG

At midnight, the woman at the desk asked how I planned to pay. When I asked if debit was accepted, she rolled her eyes and sighed loudly. I said I could use credit or cash, and she told me cash and debit required a $300 deposit. I said credit was fine, but she never smiled or showed any warmth. I’ve spent my whole life in the service industry and can’t imagine treating someone that way. I’ll avoid staying at a Holiday inn again at all costs.

The Wi-Fi gave us trouble this time, but I guess nothing’s perfect every stay. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean and airy. Breakfast was decent too, and there were free suppers Monday to Wednesday. No complaints otherwise.

I woke up with very itchy bites all over my back after staying in room 223. As soon as I got home, I had to wash all my clothes and my travel bag. I emailed the front desk but didn’t get a timely reply. When I called, the woman working there said their beds don’t have bed bugs and dismissed what I was telling her.

I often meet colleagues in the common area beside reception. It’s a nice spot for informal planning or working on a computer before the next day. Breakfast is another plus: it’s complimentary, hot, has plenty of choices, and the area is spotless and well staffed. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms modern and clean, and the mattresses very comfortable. After a hard day’s work, I appreciate the quiet room and a good night’s sleep. I’m in North Battleford for business often, and the Holiday Inn is my regular choice. It’s well maintained, amazingly clean and comfortable, and I’ve always had good experiences here. The dedicated staff keep things running smoothly and are happy to welcome guests. I’d recommend it and will be back.
