The location is right by the water, next to a grocery store and shopper’s drug mart, and close to downtown Orillia. Staff were friendly and helpful at check-in, during the stay, and at checkout. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable. The fridge was bigger than in most hotels I’ve stayed at, and having a microwave was great. I’d recommend it if you’re after a more affordable stay.

It’s the cheapest hotel in Orillia, so five stars from me for a one star hotel. I stayed in the middle of winter on my way to go skiing. It isn’t perfect, but the staff were very welcoming.

Clean rooms in the township, right by the lake and shopping. Casino Rama is also a short drive away.

The room could use a bit of fixing up, mostly cosmetic stuff like a fresh coat of paint. Otherwise this basic motel has what you need for a few nights: a comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels, good Wi-Fi, a desk area, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It’s about a five minute walk to downtown’s main stretch and only a few minutes from the nice park by the lake.

The queen room felt cozy, with a small sofa and a mini tub. It was very clean and up to date.
