It was quiet inside and out at night, since the hotel is on a business street. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and the staff were really nice and accommodating. There are plenty of restaurant options nearby, too. Thanks!

I asked to switch rooms because the musty, moldy odor made it impossible to sleep, but the hotel was full. The manager offered to spray air freshener. I turned that down because it wouldn’t fix the cause, and my mother-in-law is allergic to it. He said he could only offer a partial refund if I checked out the next day. We had a terrible night with hardly any sleep. At checkout I felt at least half the room rate should have been returned, but I got just $23, described as a personal gesture from the manager rather than an official refund. I found that hard to believe. This was a long weekend, so the rate was higher than usual. Flies were buzzing around the room all night, and after the AC had been running for about two hours, we came back from dinner to an overwhelming, nauseating smell of mildew and mold. I reported it, and the manager came to inspect and agreed the odor was bad. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

For $250 a night, I expected a clean room, but it was rancid. The carpets were filthy, the shower curtain was moldy, and there was dust and lint everywhere. It felt uncomfortable being in there, even though we slept well enough. The beds were comfortable and the AC was fairly quiet. It’s a bare bones hotel, which can be fine for budget travel, but this level of cleanliness wasn’t acceptable for what they charge.

I have nothing against the management, but who has been using room 207 for such an extended period? The credit card details say ...? One star just because of whoever’s in 207, sorry.
