Holiday Motel

The only real problem was the thin walls. Our neighbour had the TV on loudly and seemed to fall asleep, so we heard the sports channel all night. Even so, we'll absolutely come back next time we're passing through Orillia. Thanks to the family who owns the place! I booked directly with the front desk a week ahead for one night, since we were travelling and decided to stop in Orillia. The price was fantastic for what we got: two clean, comfortable double beds, a quiet location, and parking right in front of the room, which we appreciated in mid-January. It also had a fireplace heater to warm the room, a TV, clean towels and bathroom, extra pillows, and a complimentary bag of popcorn, such a sweet touch.

The bedding was stained, there were crumbs in the bed, and dirt and garbage under it. It's gross and very outdated, and I honestly don't feel like staying here. Don't come unless you want to feel like you're in an abandoned motel from the 60s.

It's handy to have a convenience store next door and a grocery store across the street, especially if you're on a budget. The price was reasonable, and the owners and staff are friendly. The room was clean, though the rooms are old and they're working on them. There's no daily maid service, but they'll ask if you need anything.

The room was very nice and clean, though it cost more than I expected. I booked through a third party, and the owner said the price was higher because of that booking.
