The first room had mold, so I reported it and accepted the offer to switch. The next room had mold too, and neither the door lock nor the deadbolt worked. Staff already knew about the lock problem, since they said the same thing when I reported it. I might have been mostly okay with that on my own, but I had my toddler with me, who loves crawling around and, weirdly, licking floors. It was a really disappointing stay. I also don't know why the room is listed at $60-90 when we paid $240 for one night.

We came with our dog to see a show at Rama, but left after the show because there was no way I was sleeping in that filthy room. The dog was already waiting by the door with his leash, ready to go home, LOL. The person who should have been at the front desk was also cleaning rooms, so no one greeted us. The lampshades had brown stains, and some lamps had no power or bulbs. The bed was old, stained underneath, and so soft it barely had any spring left. I couldn't even tell whether the sheets had been changed. Do not stay at this location.

The place smells old, and I found a children's sticker in the sheets, so I slept on top of the covers. The beds were very springy and seemed heavily used, the ceiling had stains, and there was no floor mat. There were only two face towels in the bathroom. When I asked at the front desk, I got two washcloths and two towels. They also had to bring several remotes to fix the TV, leaving us with one for channels and another for volume. No coffee maker or shower toiletries either. The front desk looked shocked when I told them I was reviewing the place. It was the least expensive option, but I would have slept better in a tent. Don't slow down on the 400 for this one. I found it on the Choice Hotels app and can't believe it was listed there.

The location is great, with nothing far away, and for what we paid I think we got a good deal. The fridge and air conditioning worked really well, the staff were super friendly, and they even let us charge our car for free. There are also people who lost their homes and are now forced to live at the hotel; they're very nice and give the place a strong community feel. We had a great time and met lots of nice people. It needs a renovation badly. The rooms are pretty outdated, and there are a few bugs, so don't expect luxury.
