The most troubling part of our stay was a serious incident that left us stressed and unsettled. Management later said it had been reviewed internally, but the way it was handled still left us feeling unsupported and disappointed. We were there over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Apart from seasonal decorations, there were no special holiday offerings, extra touches, or communication acknowledging the season. The breakfast buffet had basic, standard choices, but the hot food often seemed bland and repurposed rather than freshly made. Though breakfast is advertised until 10AM, staff started packing items away by 9:30. We also saw hundreds of ants in the pool area. Food left even briefly on suite counters or in garbage bins attracted them quickly, which was concerning. Although the hotel looks modern at first glance after some cosmetic renovations, there were maintenance and cleanliness problems: cracks in our walls and door frames, carpet stains, deteriorating grout in the shower, and mold in the ice container, which was just a dollar store bin. We later swapped it for a proper lidded ice bucket. The bathroom fan didn't work on our first day. After several tries it eventually started, but it was worn and very dusty. Poor insulation and suite doors that slam shut meant hallway and upstairs sounds could easily disturb sleep and our enjoyment. We chose this Marriott because of its reputation and expected better care, particularly over the holidays. There were some positives, but our experience didn't meet the level of service, maintenance, or guest care we expect from Marriott.

I've been to several events here, and the clean, bright space is a great venue in a convenient location. It's well equipped for presentations, banquets, and other events. The wait staff are always friendly and helpful, and the food is nicely presented, tasty, and suited to the occasion.

The room was clean and spacious, and the food and service at the debut party were great. It's a nice place to hold an event. The audio wasn't very good, though. I'm not sure whether it would sound different for dancing or a dinner concert, but maybe bring in a pro DJ and bring the house down?

The room was clean and nice, the beds were comfortable, and it was very quiet, which I appreciated. The trouble was breakfast service in the bistro. We paid for the upgrade and sat at our table for almost 15 minutes while the attendant looked our way. It took what seemed to be a manager telling her to serve us before anything happened. My egg breakfast was good for hotel food, but the server missed several things I'd asked for and brought no condiments. She never checked whether we were enjoying the meal or needed anything. She brought the bill asking for gratuity before our food even arrived. I asked her to leave it until we were done, but just as with my request for orange juice, she didn't seem to hear me and walked away. The hotel needs to work on this department, but otherwise we had a nice stay.

We only stayed one night and hope to come back for longer. The rooms were quite nice, and everything was very clean with friendly staff. We didn't get to use the pool, though it looked large and not crowded. There was no bathroom vent, which was frustrating because showers made the room quite humid. Free breakfast would have been nice too, though I know it's not required. The food they did serve looked great, and having a Starbucks on-site was a nice bonus.
