Shiraz Villa

Tucked among the vineyards a couple of minutes from town, this quiet family-run place has lovely views of the lake and mountains. The room was roomy, open, and comfortable, and the man at the front desk was welcoming and accommodating. The off-season price felt very fair for such a peaceful spot. Really good stay, and I'll be back for sure :D

From the back patio you can look straight out at Osoyoos Lake. The room and bathroom are both spacious, and the lighting is good. Getting to Osoyoos main street is easy. I'd recommend the property.

I loved the lake view and the drive through the vineyard on the way to this family-run villa. The staff were always available when we needed something. A pleasure to stay here, and I'll definitely return.

The first impression was nice: the drive through the wine farm, and a property that seemed quiet and private. Once inside the room, though, the issues were hard to ignore. The bathroom and bedroom had no real separation, just a flimsy plastic cover, so having a jacuzzi didn't feel romantic at all. It was awkward and offered little privacy. The air conditioning was the worst part. It was very old and switched itself off every few minutes. With the temperature above 30°C outside, my partner had to keep waking up all night to turn it back on. We were exhausted, and the stay was miserable. For what this hotel charges, the outdated unit is unacceptable and needs replacing. There was nobody at the front desk either, so finding help when something goes wrong may be difficult. If you're sensitive to heat, care about privacy, or expect basic service, I wouldn't recommend staying here.
