The beds and pillows were top quality, and the space was bright and clean. Our two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment was a great fit for a family or group. The host was friendly, there were plenty of good local restaurants nearby, and the bus stop was just two doors down. Most places we needed to go, including Algonquin College, downtown, and the casino, were about 10-20 minutes away. Definitely 5 stars. I’d recommend it and look forward to staying again if I’m back in the Ottawa area.

I was disgusted by the owner Dave’s service and lack of professionalism. I booked through Hotels, but on arrival didn’t get the room I’d reserved because he gives Airbnb priority. He offered either a full refund or the difference between the two rooms. I chose a full refund after finding another hotel. A month later, I still hadn’t got my money back, so I called Hotels. They contacted him, and he said he had a no-refund policy and wouldn’t issue one. That was childish and completely unprofessional. I’d give zero stars if I could. Grow up and stop scamming people out of $600.

My father and I stayed for one night because the hotels were pretty expensive. This place worked well for our budget, and it was very clean. The owner was kind, and it felt like staying in a hotel.
