Courtyard Ottawa Downtown

That lobby was a welcome place to thaw out after a workday in Ottawa's –30°C January cold. It has comfortable seating, a fireplace, and a friendly feel, plus complimentary cookies and refreshing water every day. A free cookie feels like five-star luxury in that weather. I was there for a week, and my room was clean, comfortable, and laid out well. The bed was excellent, and the proper desk setup worked well for my business trip. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The downtown location was great, and I'd happily stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Ottawa Downtown again.

The pool was a real highlight for our family over March Break. It was clean and well kept, and the smaller side pool worked perfectly for the younger kids. Indoor parking was convenient too. Our room was spacious, clean, and very well maintained. The front desk team were helpful and happy to answer questions, which made things easier. The hotel is close to what you need, with easy transit access, so a car isn't really necessary. The immediate area can feel a bit uncomfortable, but it didn't affect our stay overall. We had an amazing time, everything exceeded our expectations, and our kids are already asking when we can come back.

I haven't stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Ottawa Downtown yet, but during my Winterlude walk I passed by and was drawn to its spot right in the middle of ByWard Market. Restaurants and historic sites are only steps away, so it looks like a good base for exploring Ottawa on foot. I'm hoping to stay in the future and experience it properly. Thanks for the kind reply. The room was clean and in good condition, and the staff were responsive, cooperative, and always ready to help. There's no in-house restaurant, which could make breakfast, lunch, or dinner a challenge. Still, being right downtown means plenty of places to explore, and you can order through the helpdesk or a delivery platform. The US embassy and other tourist spots are within walking distance. My family and I enjoyed our stay.
