Henia's Inn

Henia's Inn worked out as excellent value for my solo trip, and I’d book it again if I head to Ottawa in the future. It’s a townhouse in a quiet neighborhood, and my room was very clean and comfortable. I had to share a bathroom with one other guest, but that was never a problem. Breakfast food is provided in the kitchen, and each room has space in the refrigerator for its own supplies. The location wasn’t convenient for downtown Ottawa, especially with weekday rush-hour traffic. It was great for going to a Senators game, though. I could take the roads south back to the Inn while everyone else was trying to get onto the highway. Parking is allowed in front of the left side of the townhouse. There may be enough room for two cars if they fit snugly; otherwise, there’s street parking at the end of the road. It wasn’t an issue during my stay, but I can imagine it being inconvenient when all the rooms are full.

I really enjoyed my six nights here. The place was lovely, and the host was welcoming and kept everything very clean. Just check before booking whether the attached washroom is included, since I hadn’t realized that. Still, I had a very positive stay.

The area was quiet and peaceful, and the Wi-Fi worked really well. The owner was also happy to share lots of ideas for things to see and do in Ottawa. Each morning there was a different homemade breakfast, with fresh-cut fruit, coffee, orange juice, and yogurt. The house was spotless and the service was wonderful. I’d happily return and recommend it.

The breakfast was freshly prepared in the kitchen and tasted great, and the inn felt warm and welcoming as soon as I walked in. Everything was spotless and comfortable. There were lots of useful extras, including towels, a hair dryer, ironing table, shampoo and conditioner, and each TV had Netflix. I’d definitely recommend this wonderful B&B to anyone staying in Ottawa.
