Hampton Inn & Suites Ottawa West

The staff were friendly and professional, and the hotel was clean and quiet. The bathroom amenities were all empty when we arrived, but staff filled them quickly. The breakfast buffet was the weak point. The turkey sausages tasted like boiled hot dogs, and by 9 am most things were gone and the breakfast staff weren’t refilling them, even though breakfast runs until 10.

The beds are extremely comfortable, and breakfast is included, with a waffle bar, cereal, and other things. There’s a pool too. It’s a little outside downtown, but for the price this hotel is great value and I have no other complaints.

The common areas were roomy and thoughtfully laid out, with lots of seating and handy spots to plug in a phone or laptop. Good for getting work done or just relaxing. Our room was spacious, clean, and well appointed, and the bed was so comfortable that getting a good night’s sleep was easy. The bathroom was a highlight too, with hot water and great shower pressure. We were in Ottawa on a recent business trip and had a lovely stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton. Check-in was quick and easy, and the whole hotel looked clean, modern, and well maintained. Breakfast was simple and fresh, just what you’d expect from a Hampton Inn, and more than enough to start the day. The small on-site store came in handy for snacks and anything we’d forgotten. Having a coffee maker, microwave, and small fridge in the room was a nice bonus for a business stay. We were very happy with the experience and would return and recommend the hotel.

The room and pool were both very nice, and I’d stay here again. The free breakfast was really good too, though waiting on a home toaster was annoying. By the time my toast was ready, the food I’d already put on my plate had gone cold, and there’s no microwave.
