The walk to Rathtrevor is close, and Parksville is just a quick drive away. Our cottage was cozy and lovely, in great shape, and the staff were very friendly.

We've tried several units in this complex and have been happy with every stay. The three-bedroom place worked really well for our group of five. It's quiet and easy to get around from, near Rathtrevor Park's trails and beach, the highway, and town without being in town. A great base for exploring, highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Oceanside Village Resort. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The grounds were peaceful and kept up nicely, and our clean, roomy cabin had everything we needed. Shops and restaurants are nearby, and Rathtrevor Beach is an easy walk away. We'd happily return and recommend it to anyone coming to Parksville.

We could walk to the Black Goose Inn, which had tasty food and a lovely ocean-view patio. Our cabin's two bedrooms and loft gave six of us enough room to sleep comfortably. We were in town for the 55+ Games in Nanaimo, and the drive to where we played in North Nanaimo wasn't too far.

We even managed to hike without getting rained on! The fall colours and leaves on the ground were tres bien. Our cottage and OVR were fabulous, just as usual.
