Park Sands Beach Resort

We come back every year because there's something for everyone in the family. The resort is clean, the staff are friendly, and the campsites are a good size. In summer, there's an ice-cream stand on the property with all kinds of flavours. Right next door is the best kids' park and water park I've seen, and a wide boardwalk follows the spectacular soft sandy beach. The tide goes way out in summer, and there's plenty to do here 🏖🛶.

Our family has camped at this resort for the past ten years, and the staff have been helpful and accommodating to campers' needs. The grounds are clean and well maintained. ParkSands is right by the beach, and it's also very centrally located in downtown Parksville. The Tuesday night market is just across the street. We spent the whole month of August here and had a fantastic time. A couple of minor problems came up, but they were handled quickly and courteously. We love the resort and can't wait to return next year. Highly recommended!

We had to leave a day early because of the weather during our three-night stay. Once we got home, we were pleasantly surprised to find an email with a gift certificate for a night here next year. That's very good customer service, and we hadn't even asked. We were in RV site C02, closest to the ocean, with a flat paved spot, full hookups, and a very clean area. The surrounding space was grass, with room for a gazebo tent if wanted. Check-in was automatic, so there was no need to visit an office either arriving or leaving. A great ocean boardwalk is right there. The ocean looks much closer and more panoramic in person than in our photos. Walk about 150 metres toward Parksville and you'll find three or four blocks of shops, services, restaurants, and fast food. My wife and I had a great stay.
