Timberland Motel

We got a free hot breakfast with our room choice, and there's a pool too. It's an older motel, but we thought it was awesome. The staff were friendly, and the small-town feel was nice. Tucked off a main road, it was peaceful outside in the evening, with benches along the walls near each room. First time here, and I'd definitely come back.

The meal was a 10/10 for both of us. We had the Lobster Roll Special, and it was just right, plenty of good lobster chunks, not much mayo, finely chopped celery, and a buttered toasted bun. The salad was fresh, there were lots of sides to choose from, and even the coleslaw was perfect. We didn't see the rooms, this was a restaurant visit. I brought my 86 year old Dad, who uses a walker, and the place was very accessible. It was quiet, so our waitress had time to chat with him and listen to his stories. She really topped off a great meal.

Dinner and drinks were great. The hotel isn't new, but the people running the front desk and restaurant were friendly and clearly cared. They were great.

I called to ask about prices for a long weekend biking trip in August, since I needed a dog friendly room. The woman suggested booking online. I told her I wasn't very good at that, and she said to try, then call back if I couldn't manage and she'd book it for me. I know most people do things online now, but I like talking to someone and knowing the price and dog fee. If they can't help me with that, I'll go somewhere else. So, no thanks. Adair's for the win, they were very helpful!
