We rented all three units, which gave our group room to gather and privacy when we wanted it. Our unit became the spot for shared dinners, and the big patio made it feel like home. The place is only minutes from the Naramata Bench, a lovely surprise we hadn’t realized when booking. Rain came and went, but when the sun showed up the views were breathtaking. We’re already talking about returning, hopefully with more sunshine and the same deer visiting us. The surroundings were quiet, the views incredible, and Alix was so thoughtful throughout. She recommended a great local pizza place that delivers, and when we mentioned a birthday dinner, she brought up tables and chairs so we could celebrate comfortably and put up some lights. Check-in was smooth, and she welcomed us as we unloaded. The units were spotless, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed, including spices, foil, and a garlic press. We loved the comfy beds, the upstairs fireplace and TV, the expansive patio, and the fact that it’s pet-friendly.

The lake views from the property are incredible, and I love that dogs are welcome. The units are spacious and comfortable, nicely set up for an Okanagan getaway. There are plenty of sleeping options, and the kitchen is well equipped.

The lake view would have been great, but smoke from BC wildfires obscured it during our visit. Also, the property is on the outskirts of Penticton, rather than in town itself. We stayed five days in August with our family of five and had plenty of room. It was very well maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen, a deep jetted tub, two bathrooms, and two decks. The accommodations were second to none. Highly recommended.

We’ve been coming to crooked tree for six years, and for the value it’s amazing. The sun-filled patios overlooking the lake are a favorite. Suites are beautifully decorated, painted, and immaculately clean, with a well-stocked kitchen for cooking and a BBQ. The owners are friendly and extremely accommodating. As long as crooked tree is around, we won’t stay anywhere else!

It’s a clean, comfortable, roomy place up in the woods with wonderful views. Good for families, a girls’ or boys’ weekend away, or a romantic trip. Open the screened sliding doors and you can hear the birds chirping. There’s a little walk nearby to check out the local inflorescence, and local wineries are just a hop, skip, and jump away.
