The easy self check-in was a real plus, especially if you prefer not to deal with a lot of fuss. Our room was spotless and well kept, with modern decor that made it feel comfortable. The staff were warm, helpful, and welcoming throughout. Kettle Valley Beach Resort is close to Okanagan Lake and its lovely views, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and wineries nearby. It was also around a 35-45 minute drive to Apex Mountain Resort, handy for winter activities. We had a wonderful stay, well beyond what we expected, and would happily come back.

The owners were great about communicating when we needed to extend our stay, and the location is fantastic, just steps from the beach. It worked perfectly for our family vacation. One tip if you're booking the one-bedroom with kids or guests sleeping in the living room: bring blackout curtains. It was bright in there, and our kids had trouble sleeping the first night. Still a definite five stars.

We had a very nice weekend here, and the location across from the beach made it especially appealing. Restaurants are an easy walk away, and staff communication was quick, efficient, and responsive. Our three-adult group found the bedrooms pleasant, the living area comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. The shower was great, with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. We could hear noise from the units on both sides in the evening, though it settled down by midnight each night. Parking might be difficult in high season, but we were fine in October.

The patio out back was a lovely spot to unwind with morning coffee, and the staff were attentive and courteous. We stayed in a roomy, cozy one-bedroom suite that was exceptionally clean. After trying other places in the area, this has become our favorite. We have already booked for summer and hope the season comes quickly. We may end up returning even more often than we first expected. Thanks, Shelly, it was a pleasure meeting you.

We liked this motel a lot and would gladly stay again. The location is hard to beat, and getting in with the code was easy. Our room mixed older and newer touches, and I especially liked the original hardwood floors. Having the sink outside the tub and toilet area made the room feel more spacious. It was a lovely room, and you can see the effort that's gone into the place. A few small things could make it even more convenient. We arrived at 2 and had to wait around before the room was ready; it would be nice if the code could be set once cleaning was done, though I understand busy months may mean waiting until 4. Hooks on the bathroom door would help us hang clothes to change into after a shower, and a full-length mirror would be handy. There was only one outlet above the sink and another by the first bed near the door, so bedside charging lights or outlets would help. My extra-long cord came in handy. There was just one chair by the desk, and even a tiny table with two chairs would be better for a room with two queen beds and space for up to four people. We had nowhere to sit for snacks except the beds. These are all minor suggestions.
