The food was worth every penny, and the kale even won over my 15-year-old. We were still talking about it all the way to Ontario. The wine selection could use an improvement, but this place is definitely aimed at distinguished connoisseurs.

The quirky, charming art was a bright spot, and the warm service was much appreciated. The amenities covered everything we needed, too. But the unmistakable mildew smell hit us at the front door and was just as strong in our room. That’s hard to get past. Please remove the bedroom carpets, they don’t give the place a fresh, clean feel. A bit more light by the beds and in the sitting area would have been nice. I wish I could rate it better.

Chefs Ray and Matt put together elegant dishes with so much flavour. This place is a real gem, and the whole experience was unique, delightful, and incredibly delicious. Highly recommend!

The meal had a couple of welcome surprises, including an amuse bouche and a trou normand. The food was great, and the restaurant and Inn made for a very welcoming stop in such a calm, peaceful setting. It’s a much better restaurant than you usually find along the road.

The place had a kitschy, campy feel, but still felt warm and friendly. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the wonderful food.
