Cozy farmhouse stay, and the hosts were great. The baked goods were honestly five-star. We loved the eggs, feeding the horses on our first visit, and meeting the baby goats on our second. It’s close to St Mary's and Stratford, and we’d love to plan another trip for next summer. If I were picking somewhere within 8-10 hours of Chicago, this would be in my top five. Would I come back? AWW YEAH!

The guest house has games and toys, and the outdoor spaces are great. It’s comfortable and well equipped for a family trip or a quiet getaway, with easy access to St. Mary's and Stratford. The owners were so kind and thoughtful, and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived at their farm.
