Robyn's Motel

I didn't expect much, but the owners and workers exceeded my expectations. It was far better than the last few hotels I've stayed in, with very good cleanliness, service, and communication. I was in town for my daughter's surgical appointment and got a better rate than at the other places I spoke with. The owner thoughtfully suggested I watch for ice, though I found the parking lot well maintained. If I need to stay in Peterborough again soon, I imagine I'll come back.

I've stayed here for years when work brings me to Peterborough. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a good queen bed, coffee machine, small microwave, and fridge. There's plenty of parking, and the rate is good. It's close to Peterborough, though being a couple of hundred feet off the Trans-Canada Hwy means there is some traffic noise.

The service was fantastic. Family health issues kept changing my plans, so I extended my stay several times, and they were excellent about it. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend the place.

I usually travel with my wife and stay at big brand hotels that cost upwards of $300 a night. On my own, I only needed somewhere to sleep, and Robyn’s turned out to be a fabulous motel. The gentleman at the counter was polite, and the total was $113 including tax. I don't need breakfast since I usually hit the road early. The renovated bathrooms are lovely and clean, and the room was cozy with a comfortable bed. That's all I can ask for. If I pass through again, I'd stay here with my wife.
