Picton Harbour Inn

For a short winter getaway, this was a lovely choice, and we’ll definitely return. The third-floor room was one of the cleanest I’ve seen in a hotel or inn. The staircase looked concerning in the pictures, but it was well salted and easy to manage. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the Main Street is very close.

The balcony view over the waterfront was beautiful, and the room was tidy and clean with a very comfortable bed. We had a good stay at Picton Harbour Inn and would still consider coming back. Traffic noise could get quite loud because the room doors face the parking lot and road. The room could also use some freshening up. There were unpleasant splatter marks on the bathroom ceiling and a few spots that needed touch-ups.

We spent three nights here and already know we’ll be back. The people at the motel and at the Lighthouse Restaurant were cheerful and welcoming throughout. I especially loved sitting by the dock and seeing the boys and men get so excited whenever someone landed a fish. Our room faced the marina, with gorgeous fall colors behind it. The boardwalk by the harbour was a fun place to play board games late into the evening, and the rooms felt fresh and were very clean. Downtown is only a short walk away, and some of the Bay’s best fishing charters dock here. Check-in was easy with a code sent to your phone, and someone was still available if anything came up. We also enjoyed breakfast at the Lighthouse restaurant in the Inn. Fantastic stay, highly recommend!
