The mornings were lovely, with breakfast delivered outside our room: baked goods, fresh fruit, yogurt or overnight oats, and orange juice. We stayed in the bright, spacious Richard Burton suite, and the bed was very comfortable, with both firm and soft pillows. Everything about our time at The Cape felt luxurious and relaxing. Jake and Elizabeth were warm, welcoming hosts who made us feel pampered. We can’t wait to visit again!

I always enjoy officiating weddings at The CAPE in Picton. It’s a beautiful, classic property, and the restoration gives it an elegant but welcoming feel. Jake and Elizabeth make working there effortless: they’re organized and prepared, so I can focus on the ceremony knowing the other details are handled. They look after everyone, from the couple to the guests, with real care and attention. Nothing seems overlooked, and the whole day comes together smoothly. It’s one of my favourite Prince Edward County venues to officiate at, and I know each time will be enjoyable and well run.

Our September 2025 wedding at The Cape came together beautifully, and we’re so grateful to Elizabeth and Jake for making it everything we hoped for and more. We trusted them completely, and they made the day amazing. They were patient with all our requests, including our guests’ requests, and made the whole experience feel effortless and personal. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care really set them apart. They’re naturals at what they do, and I highly recommend working with the team at The Cape.

We planned our wedding with only a couple of months’ notice, but Elizabeth and Jake still helped everything come together and accommodated our needs throughout. One gesture we’ll always remember was arranging with Merrill House (next door) for all of us to have breakfast together. It was so generous and meant a lot to us and our guests. The rooms were stunning, and the whole space felt gorgeous, with beautiful light fixtures and thoughtful décor. Breakfast was delicious too. Our wedding at The Cape was magical, and we’ll always be grateful to Elizabeth and Jake for making it unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

The room was spacious and had such sophisticated elegance that I felt like I was in a 50s movie. I loved the in-room breakfast option and the building’s historic, old-school charm. The CAPE is on a quiet street, close to lots of restaurants. It was our first time in the area and at this hotel. The one downside was that there was never any ice in the fridge, although it was promised. Aside from that, we’d definitely come back to Picton.
