The cleaning staff were cheerful and friendly, and the location is great. Good company can make a place like this more enjoyable, too. The bathroom had mold, and with the door open the room smelled strongly of mildew. The AC only worked when it felt like it. They couldn’t offer cleaning or a room change to address it. Front desk staff seemed miserable and weren’t helpful; the hot tub was out of service with no estimated return date. Apparently, late checkout wasn’t an option either. Awful service. I wouldn’t stay again.

The staff were very nice, but the room was badly outdated, with cheap furniture and appliances. The fridge rattled all night, and the TV was tiny. Worst of all, the dark carpet was filthy. I walked barefoot from the bed to the shower and the tub water turned black from my feet. It’s an $80 room being sold for $190 a night. I’d only come back if I had no other choice.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the AC worked well. It’s an older hotel, and the hallway and elevator felt humid, probably because of the hot tub downstairs. We skipped breakfast but used the coffee machine, which had nice options like lattes. It was a good stay for the price, about a 30 minute walk from the town center. Boston Pizza, Dairy Queen and Soo Sushi are nearby.

It was okay, though the woman at the front desk was kind of rude. My laptop charger went missing there, and even after I went back several times to look, it never turned up. I had to buy another one on Amazon for $150. Two stars, and I’m being nice.
