Travelodge by Wyndham Pincher Creek

A decent place for shift workers. There’s free laundry on site, and in the morning we could pick up water and breakfast. Wal-Mart is within walking distance, handy for food like freshly cooked chickens.

The best part of this stay was manager Bridgette Lawson. She was caring, kind, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I was looked after, even though she’s a very busy person. Because of her, I’d definitely return to Travelodge if I’m back in Pincher Creek. Thank you, Bridgette 😊 🙏🏽 My sister recommended Travelodge, and this was my first stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and I liked the daily room service. The bagged breakfast was handy and healthy, and there was unlimited access to hot drinks on the main floor. Jason at the front desk was friendly and very helpful whenever I needed something. I wasn’t happy with one housekeeper’s grouchy attitude. I know everyone has good and bad days, but staff shouldn’t treat guests badly or give them attitude. Customer service matters a lot to me.

The room itself seemed just right, with a new bed and bathroom, and there’s free laundry down the hall. My main complaint is the carpet in the halls, on the stairs and around the lobby. It needs a cleaning, and it makes the whole place look bad. If it isn’t cleaned soon, it may need replacing. The location is fine, though a little odd, tucked behind Walmart.

I feel at home here whenever I come to Pincher Creek. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to see around town and nearby. There’s a bar in the hotel for drinks, and the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and very clean. The carpets are due for replacement, but otherwise my room is always immaculate. I love that the main floor rooms can be entered from the hallway or outside. On a road trip with several bags, it’s ideal, and usually I can park right outside my own room. The beds are very comfortable, there’s free laundry at the hotel, and the free bagged breakfast gets me on the road quickly. I was in Canada for about nine and a half weeks recently and stayed at the Travelodge three separate times. I’m sure I’ll be back, Brigette. 😉
