The heater took some figuring out: the mini-split was only an air conditioner, and the old gas heater on another wall did the job once I found it. I wondered if it should have a carbon monoxide monitor. The motel looks worn and dated, though my room was as clean as I could reasonably expect. It wasn't a bad stay, but anyone wanting a modern place may want to look elsewhere. The building's getting on in years, same as me.

It was cheap and clean, but I checked out early and didn't enjoy the stay. Traffic was loud, the dark paneling made the room gloomy, and the air conditioner was awkward to reach when I wanted to adjust or turn it off. The beds were placed so the second person had to climb over their partner to get out. Check-in meant filling out forms by hand, which felt old-fashioned. There was no breakfast or pool, and the outside badly needed paint. I'd spend a little more for somewhere better.

From the outside we weren't sure about the place, but the clean room and friendly service made for a lovely stay. It's a little rough around the edges, which seems fair for the price, and the location was good.

The rooms and white bedding were clean, and the staff clearly try to keep the place welcoming even though everything is pretty old. For this price range, it's one of the best motels I've stayed in. Thanks for the opportunity to stay here.

We ended up staying five nights after our van broke down on a road trip. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom felt modern, with hot water coming quickly. The woman working there was especially kind, making sure we could keep the same room each time we added another night.
