After three years in Canada, this was our first real break from the city, and Ox+Bow was exactly the escape we needed. It's not far from Winnipeg, which made finding such a peaceful place even better. The indoor space feels warm, cozy, and full of character, like a home away from home. We had a girls' getaway and spent our time laughing, eating, drinking, relaxing, and taking in the nature around us. The hot tub, sauna, outdoor barbecue, and riverside terrace made a lovely setting. Everything from the amenities to the way the place is organized felt five-star, and you can tell the hosts have put thought into every detail. They were so supportive, and we felt welcomed and cared for as soon as we arrived. We're grateful we found this hidden gem. It exceeded our expectations, and we're already looking forward to coming back. I'd recommend Ox+Bow to anyone after peace, luxury, and a unique experience. Thanks for hosting us.

Chris and Charis have hosted me several times, and they've been absolutely lovely to deal with. It's a great venue, close to Portage without the hassle and traffic, and there's a nice view of crescent lake.

The host worked with our last-minute scheduling changes, which we really appreciated. We stayed here on a cross-country road trip and got the relaxation we needed. Seeing the pelicans was awesome. Can't recommend a stay here enough!

Dan Waldron and I stayed at the Ox & Bow on Aug 26, and loved everything. The suite was spotless and had every amenity we could want, with thoughtful touches like robes in the closet and slippers by the door. QR codes connected the appliances to videos explaining how to use them. The hosts were friendly and helpful, too, and gave us great tips on where to eat. We'd happily return and highly recommend the Ox & Bow.
