The rooms and beds were great, and the service was awesome. The kids still enjoyed the pool, though it was smaller than it looked online. Breakfast needs a lot of work: there was no waffle maker or pancakes, the scrambled eggs sat in two inches of water, the boiled eggs were green, and the sausages tasted bad.

The pool was clean, great to swim in, and had clean towels and water filters available. I also liked being able to cast to the TV, and my room had a safe. Breakfast was nice, especially the yogurt and cage free hard boiled eggs. Staff were friendly, and the front desk was very helpful with umbrellas whenever I needed one. The area didn’t feel very good, and I wouldn’t recommend being alone outside after sunset. Parking was a bit tight. One issue was a housekeeping staff member with strong body odor. It lingered in the elevator after they got out, so I noticed it when I followed later. I still really enjoyed my stay.

We found dried blood in the shower stall while bathing our child, and there was also a bloody print in the elevator. When we reported it, there was no apology and no cleanup. The lobby bar plays sports loudly right by the entrance and front desk, so there’s no way around it. It didn’t feel child friendly. We booked through a third party app while looking for a pet friendly place near the hospital, and this was the nicest option we found. One evening my spouse went downstairs to buy a soda and was treated as if he wasn’t a guest. The front desk employee asked for my name because I’d made the booking, then said he didn’t look like me. He is asain and I am white, so it felt like she was saying we didn’t look like the same race. It was a microaggression. She kept refusing to sell him a drink unless he charged it to the room. The G.M wasn't on site, and she wouldn’t put me in touch with him for days. When he finally contacted me, he dismissed my claims and her behaviour. It took almost a fight to explain what happened, and he didn’t take the accusations seriously. He then referred to my spouse as a third party. A paid guest is not a third party. There’s no reason for racism in 2025, and no guest should face microaggressions. If you’re of a different ethnicity, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, as you may be profiled about why you’re there. Please do better.

It was my first stay, and I’m very pleased. The woman at the desk was helpful and accommodating about my situation. That kind of customer service makes you want to come back.
