Hotel Citadelle

There were cockroaches, bedbugs, and other bugs infesting our room. The front desk did absolutely nothing to help, so we had to cut our stay short and find another hotel. Disgusting. Never stay here, even if you're paid to.

For one night, the room was acceptable and the motel was OK in general. There are some fast food places nearby, though it's far from downtown Quebec City. The room was very old and needed a lot of repairs and upgrades. Of the many three stars hotels I've stayed in, this was the worst.

For $91ca including taxes, I just needed somewhere to sleep for one night and didn't expect much. The front desk greeter was kind, and speaking French or English was no problem. We were on the main level, not in the basement, and the sheets were clean with no bad stains, whew. The room was smalllllllllll. The whole hotel was badly dated and seemed to need endless repairs. Toilet paper, hand soap, body wash, and cups looked like discount-store buys. The room was about 90% clean, with lots of corners left unswept or unvacuumed. The vibe was tired, but still here. 91 bucks, folks, 91 bucks.

We were in town for a basketball tournament and this was a comfortable, clean place to stay. The location worked really well, and the front desk clerk was so nice.
