Motel 6 Red Deer, AB

The room worked really well for me, especially the disability bathroom. The staff were awesome, and the furnace/air conditioner was easy to use and kept the temperature steady. My one suggestion is to replace the luggage carts. They were awkward and cumbersome to use, and newer ones would be much easier. Still, I had a great stay.

It was easy to get to the highway, and there are restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable, quiet, and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Great value for the price. I had a great stay and would definitely return and recommend it to others.

The room seemed untouched since the previous guest. We arrived in winter, but the climate control was still set to AC. The bathroom fan didn't work, the wood was swollen, and black smudges on the hair dryer made me think, "oh great, mold." There was a used, crusty bar of soap, a mostly empty shampoo bottle, and pieces of dirt in the shower. I complained to the front desk and was told the room would be cleaned. The nasty black marks were still on the hair dryer, so I raised the lack of care again. The next day, my toiletries had been removed, the floor towel hadn't been replaced, and the bed had been made very shoddily. The cleaning staff clearly don't care about doing their jobs properly and should be replaced.

Check-in was quick and easy, and it was a great spot for getting to food and gasoline. My room was cozy and really clean, and the friendly staff made me feel welcome right away. I had a great stay and will definitely come back next time.
