Best Western Plus Eastgate Inn & Suites

The gym had what we needed for a quick workout, and the hot tub was a nice way to relax after exploring the city. We also had a lot of fun on the waterslide, and the heated indoor pool was relaxing. The place was clean and well kept. The pool area got a little crowded at peak times, which made it less peaceful, but it didn’t spoil our stay. It’s a fun option for families or anyone after a mix of activity and downtime. We’d come back.

The breakfast choices were limited, but what they served tasted good. The front desk ladies were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. One morning, someone nearby was making quite a bit of noise in the hall, but I couldn’t hear him from my room.

Daman was a big help. He was on his own and juggling phone calls, but still sorted things out without making excuses. When one end of the towel rod came loose, he fixed it right away. The manager was nice too, and check-in was quick and easy. We initially had no hot water, but the staff dealt with it promptly. The pool was nice and breakfast was good. Our family Sunday went great. I liked having staff who could help with everything, and I recommend the hotel.

This was my favorite room after 62 nights at Best Westerns and 23 nights at other hotels this year. It had a kitchen and dishes, and breakfast was great. The shops and restaurants were an easy walk away. The staff at the front desk knew the area and were helpful, and the pool and hot tub worked well for relaxing or bringing the family. We were here over GreyCup weekend and plan to stay again when work or leisure brings us back to Regina. It’s about 20 minutes from the airport, so it’s not downtown, though it’s near everything we needed.
