We’ve been living in a suite since September 2025 while our home renovation is underway. The Hamilton Property has worked out beautifully for us, and we’ll be here a couple more months. Apartment living has taken some adjustment, but I’d recommend it for anyone needing a longer stay. We chose Obasa for its central location, underground parking, furnished suites, safety, and pet-friendly policy. The staff have been responsive, and I’ve been delighted with the accommodations. We’ve used housekeeping now and then and are happy with the cleaning. Small things like a lightbulb or a faulty remote are usually sorted within minutes or hours. Underground parking is great in Saskatchewan winters, and we’ve also used the social room for meetings with friends and the gym.

The front desk woman’s smile was the best part of the stay, and the gentleman who tidies the place was great too. Staff overall are amazing and the accommodations are good. There are some nice residents, but people living here full time can be unwelcoming if you have children, even visiting ones. Some also act as if pet rules don’t apply to them, including where dogs should go for bathroom breaks and the requirement to keep them leashed. Those who think they’re above the AirBNB folks can ruin the experience.

The rooftop patio was under construction while we were there, which was disappointing, though I understand maintenance has to happen. The rest of our stay in the condo was very positive. It was secure, nicely decorated, clean, and had all the necessities. There was enough room for me and my three teenage daughters. The gym was clean and excellent, with everything needed for a workout before the day. Everyone we met in the building was friendly and helpful. Staying here made our Saskatchewan trip a wonderful experience.

It’s a quiet, very nice place in a central location. I’ve stayed here before, and the fourth-floor deck with the BBQs and hot tub is half the reason I come back. This year it was closed off completely. They only said it was “construction,” though I never saw anyone working there. I asked our contact about it twice, and both times he said he’d get back to me but never did.

I’m on the road a lot for work in different towns and provinces. I usually spend summers in my RV and winters in hotels or inns, but I learned some places offer suites for short stays and found Obasa Suites. After looking into their accommodation options, I got in touch. They were a pleasure to deal with from day one, and the company representatives answered my questions openly and seemed knowledgeable. I chose to rent a whole house. Check-in was easy and comfortable, and extending my stay was simple even though my schedule changed day to day. The place was new and clean, with plenty of supplies for the appliances, utensils, and cookware. Everything worked. I can’t think of a single negative from my three-and-a-half-week stay. It really felt like a home away from home, and I’d recommend giving them a try. I’ll definitely return when I need to.
