The employees were super kind and shared lots of fun things to do in the area. There’s a nice nature trail, a fun playground, and a little camp store with basic food and drinks. The pay showers and toilets were clean, and you get a picnic table at each site. The campground and motel are locally owned, with an interesting layout tiered up a hill. The sites are very close together, with nothing between you and your neighbor. From the upper sites, there’s a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence Seaway. There’s also a small motel on the property, though we didn’t use it.

The owners were wonderful with everyone and went out of their way to help. I felt safe there, and there was plenty to see and do nearby. Our motel room was gorgeous, clean, and peaceful. I'd happily return every year and recommend it to others.

The place was quiet at night, with great facilities and a beautiful beach close by. I ended up camping here by chance after my Nova Scotia plans fell through when outdoor areas closed, and the heat dome in New Brunswick meant I had to figure out somewhere else to go. A woman on a golf cart suggested taking the ferry in Matane and heading toward the dam by lac mannitouac for cooler weather. She also pointed me to the beach near the campground, which was gorgeous. That unexpected stop gave me the best birthday and memories with my companion dog of seven years, who has stage 3 kidney disease. I might not have seen this part of Quebec otherwise, and now I'm in love with the country. The staff were kind and patient even though I don't speak French. A big thank you to the staff member who helped me plan things, and to Camp Rimouski for the hospitality. Quebec is my new favorite province. People who live here are so lucky to see this beauty every day.

The flat camping spot had good amenities, and the location was great. There’s an adorable mini zoo, a covered wagon, and a really cool playground at the campground too!

The staff were friendly, and it was a quiet place to stay. My little cabin-style room was very clean and updated, with a fully equipped kitchenette.
