The room was clean, which was the one positive for me. The bed was uneven, and for what seemed like the smallest room on the planet, the price was way too high. There was NO SOAP even for washing hands, and no SHAMPOO or BODY WASH either. I won’t be going back.

The room itself was clean and acceptable, though it had a coil-spring mattress. The soap dispensers were empty, so I suppose that saved the owner some money. Remember to plug in the fridge if you need it cold, I only realized in the morning. At 4:30pm reception looked abandoned, and I had to call for my room number and door code. The cell signal kept dropping, and the couple arriving with me couldn’t get through at all; they had to ask another guest to call. Free Wi-Fi was advertised, but I had none. If there was a password, the man I reached didn’t tell me.

Being so close to the national park was convenient, and the room was clean and comfortable. But the walls are thin: road noise went on all night, and we could hear the people next door talking loudly until the early hours. We didn’t sleep well. It’s not a bad place, but I’d bring earplugs.

The room was in great shape, cleaner and nicer than a lot of popular hotels. There isn’t much at the location, which was my one small concern. The service desk was closed when we arrived, though the owner could be reached by phone. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back.
