The House Motel

It’s just off the highway but still quiet, and the staff are friendly. The room was nice, clean, and cozy, with parking right outside. Free WiFi and TV were included, and the price was the best part. I’ll stay here again.

The price was good and my room was spacious, but it badly needed a thorough cleaning from top to bottom, including everything inside.

There were stains everywhere, including on the beds, and the motel springs were poking through the mattress. All the doors looked broken or kicked in, then just jimmy-rigged back together. The staff were extremely rude and aggressive. I asked the manager for the owner’s contact information so I could complain, but he refused and said the owner doesn’t like me, even though I’ve never met him. Very professional.

I got my money back and left, and I’d strongly avoid this almost condemned motel dive. There were stains on the floor, sheets, and walls, plus a strange hole in the bathroom floor. I don’t know if it was for a camera or what. The new, younger staff were very rude, almost aggressive, and seemed never to have heard that the customer is always right.
