The staff were so friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed, and every bath was spotless with a lovely view of the nearby River. We especially liked the little oval Japanese bath, made of wood and without any chemicals. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and each has its own theme. The place feels so cozy that we relaxed as soon as we walked in. We had a fantastic weekend and will definitely be back.

It’s quiet, surrounded by beautiful nature, and the spa never felt crowded since the villa is small. That made it easy to enjoy the atmosphere with the other guests. The owner was very welcoming and clearly put a lot of effort into making our stay pleasant. The villa is beautifully decorated and feels like home. I’ll certainly come back.

The river was beautiful and so calming, and the whole villa felt cozy. Our room, Ubud, was lovely too. Even though we came at an awkward time, just after covid restrictions had shut spas, we were welcomed warmly and they adapted things to make our stay pleasant. Pierre, the manager and a wonderful chef, cooked for us every night. As he learned what we liked, he excitedly recommended new dishes. It was honestly delicious and worth the price. I’m looking forward to coming back when restrictions aren’t limiting the experience.

A spectacular spot about 1.5 hours from Montreal, with clean, nicely decorated rooms and staff who are both friendly and helpful. It’s great for a romantic escape or simply some time to unwind. I’ll definitely return and recommend it to our friends.

The building and scenery are picturesque, and the room we stayed in was beautifully decorated. The spa is attractive too, with an outdoor hot tub, dry and wet saunas, and comfortable places to rest. There’s a trail behind the property along a nice river. It’s an easy, accessible 30-40 minute stroll, though I wouldn’t call it a hiking trail. That was the good part. My wife and I stayed one night, and the service felt poor for a place priced as if it were high end. We booked by phone, and Mr.Sebastien, though I’m not sure whether he’s the owner or manager, made it seem as if our potential business was a bother. It was a family gift, so we booked anyway. On arrival, Mr. Sebastien gave us a robotic tour and had us sign the waiver forms, without a smile or even a hello. That wasn’t the welcome I expected from a place calling itself “privilege” or “oasis.” We also paid for the “four course” supper. The dining room was comfortable, the decor gave us things to talk about, and the food was satisfactory, but overpriced. Mr.Sebastien’s service left a bad taste. The menu listed the cheese platter after the main course, as you’d expect with typical french fare. My wife asked for it after we finished our main dish, and he replied, “but I've closed my kitchen, my oven is off. The cheese is not tempered. I can serve you a cold creme brulee if you'd like.” His attitude was shocking for a place that tries to present itself as high end. We went back to our room, assuming he’d had a bad day. We still had the luminotherapie to try, so we returned to ask whether we could do it that night or the next morning. He said, “follow me,” and set it up right away. It involved wearing glasses that shine lights and headphones that play sound waves. He gave no explanation beyond “don't open your eyes.” My wife and I had done it before, so we weren’t freaked out, but I can imagine my parents would have been. That wouldn’t have been good. The price sets expectations the poor service and lack of care don’t meet. We wouldn’t return or encourage friends and family to go if they’d have to deal with Mr.Sebastien. The place isn’t horrible, but it was disappointing. One more thing: they advertise a Groupon package valued at $458.90 for $149, which sounds like a bargain. Their website price is also $149, including a room for one night, four 1/2 days of spa, sauna and hiking trail access, and breakfast for 2people. I’m no math whiz, but is the luminotherapie really worth $309.90? I don’t think so. Would we recommend it? Heck no. Maybe go if you have lots of money and want to gamble on a sure fail. It’s a free country after all ;)
