On the morning we were due to check out, my husband had a sudden medical emergency and was taken to hospital. I returned to Bestway Motel in Windsor late because of what happened, and the receptionist still insisted on charging a $40 late checkout fee. When I explained the situation, I was told, “if you were at the hospital, you could have called.” The way it was said felt accusatory, as if I were lying. My husband was my priority during an emergency, and calling the motel desk was the last thing on my mind. I offered to show proof of the hospital visit. I was also told the manager was out of town, so no one could review or reconsider the charge. Emergencies happen, and I expected more compassion and professionalism. I'm sharing this so future guests know what to expect from the customer service, and I hope management reviews what happened and treats guests facing emergencies with more understanding.

Quiet, clean rooms at a low price. A nice place if you want a little time to yourself or with a friend. 😁

Check-in was easy, and since we were the only guests, it was quiet. The rooms were very dated, with some broken or dirty things, and the AC didn't work. The so-called renovated rooms were poorly done, with lots of dirt, mold, and broken floor tiles. There was blood splatter on the top sheet. The AC was plugged in but still didn't work, and grease was leaking from the plug.

Parth was great with customer service, and the bathtub was the best I’ve seen in a long time. It was impressively quiet, even over the weekend, and having the laundry room next door was handy. For the cheapest motel in Windsor, the quality really impressed me. I’d absolutely stay again. The location is convenient too.

Room 25 was so uncomfortable last night. The air conditioner wasn’t working, and nothing was done to sort it out. They could’ve offered us a different room, but all I heard was that the other rooms were worse. And since when can’t guests have a visitor come up to their room? Ridiculous.
