Royal Windsor Inn & Suites

The man at the front desk was friendly and accommodating, thank you. We were only there for one night while in transit. There was no coffee, soap, or shampoo.

Room 101 is the room for fun. I hadn't expected this side quest at all. I was debating sleeping in my car before opting for the cheaper place and popping in. Judging by the photos, I had plenty to think over in making that decision.

There is a kitchenette, and the weekends seem to be party time for a few people. If you're after somewhere quiet, this isn't it. The beds weren't comfortable, and they left us an old, nasty kitchen sponge. Gross. Make too much noise and the owners may come to your door to ask if everything's all right. Seriously? I told them to get out of my room. The place is barely decent and not even worth taking pictures of. Live and learn, I guess.

The room was clean and the bathroom was great, though the place was a little dated. I didn't expect much since I was stuck in Windsor due to a scheduling problem and this was one of the lowest rates around. Having a microwave, fridge, and four-burner stove with an oven was a real plus. There were basic cookware, utensils, and dishes, so I could cook instead of eating out all weekend. The Wi-Fi in room 212, far from the office, was terrible and unusable, so I had to use my phone as a hotspot all weekend. They should upgrade it. Aside from that, I was happy with my stay at the Royal Windsor and would come back if I got stuck in Windsor again.
