Flotel St-Tropez St-Blaise

The terrace is lovely, and the place was clean, beautiful, and so quiet. The service was really good. I was in touch with the owner, I believe, though replies could take a bit of time. Since it was summer, a busy season, that seemed usual. I think we were their first customers. There’s no A/C as part of the eco-friendly concept, but I’d definitely recommend it and come back.

We liked the small, charming floating room for four, with its two double bunk beds, but it wasn’t set up well for eating or camping. There were only two glasses, no utensils or plates, and nothing to wash the glasses with. There’s a BBQ on shore, but no tongs. Bring your camping quilt, though there’s nowhere to put it on board. And if the room next door in the same boat is occupied, there’s no privacy.

The river access is the main draw, and the view is magnificent. Space is limited, there’s no Wi-Fi inside, and without it the smart TV is useless. There’s also no way to reheat food. I’d say it’s better suited to a short stay.
